Services

Norm Additive's products are shaped according to customer demands and requests and vary in a wide range from final products to prototypes. We provide solutions to our customers with advanced additive manufacturing methods in both metal and plastic parts.

Services

3D Printing Service

Metal and polymer parts, from prototype to series production, under one roof.

At our Norm Additive facility in Izmir, we manufacture functional parts using additive manufacturing (3D printing) technologies. On the metal side DMLS / L-PBF (laser powder bed fusion), on the polymer side SLS, MJF and SLA; design (DfAM), heat treatment, post-processing and quality control all happen within the same process. As our sister company Norm 3D is the official EOS distributor for Turkey, we use German-engineered machines that we sell ourselves.

Metal 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing

Functional metal parts — from prototype to repeatable series production.

On the EOS M290 and GE Additive M2 Serie 5 systems, we manufacture using DMLS / L-PBF (laser powder bed fusion) in AlSi10Mg aluminum alloy, 316L stainless steel, maraging steel, Inconel 625 superalloy and CuCp copper. We follow up with heat treatment, post-processing and dimensional verification for a turnkey solution under one roof.

Polymer 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing

Durable, functional plastic parts — tooling-free production.

We manufacture functional parts from engineering polymers using SLS, MJF and SLA technologies. From prototype to series production, without any mold investment, we build complex geometries with repeatable accuracy. Our EOS P770 (SLS), EOS Formiga P110 Velocis (SLS), HP Jet Fusion 5210 (MJF) and Formlabs 3B+ (SLA) systems deliver a turnkey solution under one roof, with post-processing and dimensional verification included.

Rapid Prototyping

We turn an idea into a decision-ready physical part, fast.

Rapid prototyping is building a part quickly and without tooling, so a design can be physically validated for form, fit and function. Depending on your goal, we choose the right method — from visual models to final-material prototypes — and carry the prototype through to series production.

3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering

A manufacturable CAD model and verified geometry, from a physical part.

We digitize parts that have no technical drawing, are damaged, or exist only as a physical sample, using 3D scanning; we turn the resulting data into production-ready CAD models and verify it against measurement results. When a spare part can no longer be sourced, re-digitizing the physical part sustains product development and quality processes.

3D Measurement & Quality Control

At Norm Additive, the scope of dimensional verification — which dimensions, using which method, and with what reporting — is determined by the part's geometry, tolerances and project requirements. We verify critical dimensions with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and deliver the agreed reporting.

Post-Processing

3D printing is done, but the part isn't finished there. Mechanical properties, dimensional stability and surface quality are refined through post-processing.

In additive manufacturing, a part's final performance depends on correctly applying heat treatment, surface finishing, machining and other post-processing steps. At Norm Additive we manage these processes as an integrated part of production, so what we deliver isn't a semi-finished part fresh off the printer, but a ready-to-use final product.

Series Production with Additive Manufacturing

Repeatable quality, flexible production without tooling investment.

Once prototyping and design validation are complete, we carry the approved part into low-to-medium volume series production. The core advantage of additive manufacturing in series production is that we can build complex, consolidated geometries with repeatable quality and design flexibility, without any mold or dedicated fixture investment.
