Norm Additive's products are shaped according to customer demands and requests and vary in a wide range from final products to prototypes. We provide solutions to our customers with advanced additive manufacturing methods in both metal and plastic parts.
Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) is the art, science and skill to design for manufacturability using 3D printers. Different from traditional manufacturing, this additive design process empowers engineers to create more intricate shapes and production parts while reducing weight and material consumption. Norm Additive uses state-of-the-art software and tools in engineering, optimization, part consolidation and light-weighting studies
Using laser powder bed technology
Metal additive manufacturing or metal 3D printing is a type of additive manufacturing that uses a heat source – such as a laser or electron beam – to heat metal in powder or wire form so that it consolidates to form an object. Norm Additive currently utilizes Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) technology via industrial and highly regulated Concept Laser systems to manufacture parts from aluminum alloy and stainless steel parts.
Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology provided by the HP Company is a production method developed on the formation of a solid model using powdered polymer raw materials with binders in liquid form.
With HP MJF technology, which can produce multiple parts simultaneously in layers, fast, high quality, functional and low cost parts with the best isotropy in its class are produced.
Unlike assisted manufacturing used in other technologies, it can produce parts with complex geometries with high precision without using any support structure. Thanks to this feature, it makes possible to manufacture geometries that cannot be produced by conventional methods and provides design flexibility.
Norm Additive is the sales representative of the GE Additive brand thus the sole authorized reseller in Turkey of Concept Laser and Arkam additive manufacturing systems produced under this brand; as well as all spare parts and accessories of these systems and AP&C raw materials (metal powders). Norm Additive is also the sole authorized provider of maintenance, repair and service services for all Concept Laser and Arcam systems installed in the region within the scope of the service contract signed with GE Additive.
Norm additive provides services to industry professionals, engineers, researchers, A.M. experts and team leaders/executives on all additive manufacturing technologies, design for additive manufacturing, and materials science using pre-prepared or tailored curricula and programs.
Our training programs are specially designed according to the target groups and the needs of our customers in the field of additive manufacturing
Norm Additive carries out development of genuine and groundbreaking cost analysis, eco-DfAM, material selection and risk analysis software for various additive manufacturing technologies.
Within the scope of GE Additive Turkey sales and authorized service agreement, we provide service and spare parts support for all GE Additive and Concept Laser M2 branded machines in Turkey. All of our service personnel are experienced in their field and aim to meet all the needs of our customers both in the field and remotely.
Norm Additive’s responsibility towards its customers starts with the first connection and continues non-stop.
As Norm Additive, we provide spherical metal additive manufacturing powders with high machinability, excellent fluidity and maximum density. Our powder supplier, AP&C, combines advanced plasma atomization powder manufacturing technology (APA) with its expertise in testing and quality standards meaning fewer defects, more efficient processing and superior quality.
