Norm Additive uses advanced technology equipment and software in its laboratories to ensure the highest accuracy and consistency in quality control processes, including:
Thanks to the internal photogrammetry feature of our 3D scanner, we can perform 3D measurement and scanning on large parts while minimizing cumulative deviation, we digitize complex parts, curved surfaces, and details into digital format with 20 µm accuracy. With CMM, we guarantee reporting of geometric tolerances and measurements with 2 µm accuracy. Using the contour measuring station, we can obtain surface profile measurements up to 2 µm precision.
With the tensile testing machine we conduct stress tests to evaluate material strength, elongation, and fracture properties. The spectrometer provides precise analysis of material composition. The Micro Vickers hardness tester allows us to assess material hardness at micro scale in small regions, verifying quality of surface treatments and post production processes.
To serve sectors requiring high standards such as aviation and defense, we can provide First Article Inspection (FAI) reports compliant with AS9102, as well as Certificate of Conformity (CoC), under the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system when needed.
Through all these measurement and test processes, we document that the product meets technical specifications, reliability, and performance from design through final product. We reduce the risk of errors and ensure high standard deliveries that meet customer expectations.
